Indeed, mine (No. 173) arrived today. Receiver has been my reliable Standard C-6500 with my active loop. :)

A new constellation in the constant process of rearranging... ;) My new Yaesu FRG-100 instantly conquered the place on the bedside table as I prefer to have my best radio by my side late in the evening and early in the morning. The Radio Shack DX-394 (A label), also acquired in July, went into the main shack side by side with the Kenwood R-600 and Sony ICF-5900W. The DX-394 is certainly not the best performing tabletop that ever left a factory, but I like its small footprint, the tidy control panel and the wide range of tuning possibilities. Give it a try together with an AF-filter and an external speaker. And don't compare this budget receiver to the big guns in the tabletop class (Icom, Yaesu or Kenwood), but to a good portable (Sony, Sangean) - then you will probably love it as much as I do.
